Derek Myron, CFP®

Derek entered the financial industry in 1998 with the desire to help families grow and preserve their assets. Beginning as a Financial Planner at Principal Financial Group, he later co-founded Centara with Eduardo Lombardi in 2001. He and Eduardo were also the architects of EquityKey, which was researched and developed by Centara, then subsequently sold in Q4 2006 to a large financial institution with $450B in assets.
Derek currently leads Centara’s Consulting Team specializing in advanced estate and tax planning for high-net-worth families. Derek‘s team focuses on helping clients establish goals and objectives, developing a comprehensive financial analysis, selecting appropriate strategies and monitoring results.
In both 2007 and 2008, Derek was recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager: Best in Client Satisfaction™ as published by San Diego Magazine.
