Alan Clopine, CPA
Director of Tax Consulting
Alan joined Centara in 2005. Prior to joining Centara, Alan was the founding and senior partner at Clopine & Associates, LLP; a San Diego based firm he established in 1987. With over 25 years of accounting and tax experience, Alan worked at three large CPA firms in San Diego before establishing his own practice and serving the accounting needs of more than 450 clients. In addition to providing traditional accounting and tax services for businesses and successful individuals, the firm specialized in real estate, technology and small business tax planning. Alan merged his tax practice with Centara to provide comprehensive tax, legal and financial planning services for his clients. In April of 2007, Alan joined the Advanced Estate Planning Team as the Director of Tax Consulting. He is currently a member of the Management Team at Centara, oversees the tax department and is actively involved in the design and presentation of advanced planning cases.
Alan is the Director of Tax Consulting for Centara Capital Management Group. Prior to joining Centara, Alan was the founding and senior partner at Clopine & Associates, LLP. With over 25 years of accounting and tax experience, Alan worked at three large local CPA firms in San Diego before establishing his own CPA practice in November of 1987. In addition to providing traditional accounting and tax services, the firm specialized in real estate, technology, small business & professionals.
